Helen's laughter filled her home with joy and happiness but at the starting of her second year something unexpected happened in her life, as she became very sick for many days and nights her parents were worried and hoped for her to recover as soon as she. As time passed Helen did get better but not everything was the same, the illness took away her ability to see and hear. Helen was too frustrated that she couldn't see her parents' smile and couldn't explain her feelings as well. Despite these challenges, Helen was a very smart and determined child. She learns to communicate using her sense of touch, As Helen loves nature she feels the warmth of the sun on her skin and the cool of the moon at midnight, sometimes Helen feels angry and sad because she couldn't share her thoughts with others. So her parents brought a teacher named Anne Sullivan who became a guiding light in the life of Helen Keller.
